LIVE MUSIC WITH CHAS CRAWFORD ON THE ROOFTOP TERRACE
Chas began playing in front of people while he bartended, which gave him the opportunity to open for Atlanta music legend Kurt Thomas. Kurt’s terms: “You can open for me every week, as long as you always bring one new song.” Since then, Chas has been lucky to play alongside other legends in Atlanta (Brandon Thomas, Francisco Vidal, Frank Whitaker).
His style lies somewhere in-between Dave Matthews and Bob Seger, with a volcanic voice, sticky chord choices and genuine gratitude for all that enjoy his music. He grew up with influences from Gregg Allman, Jerry Garcia and Bob Dylan. Chas plays the Atlanta bar circuit primarily as a solo act and with a lead guitarist at venues like Truck & Tap, Rock ’N’ Taco, 5 Paces and Wild Wing locations. For a couple of months now, he has been writing his own material, and fantasies to one day play with Dave Matthews or Zac Brown.
